The Ninth Annual Ballroom Gala was a great success!
I am pleased to report that close to 500 people
attended and enjoyed a great meal and lots of
dancing to a live band. Most important, they were
there to support the Meals On Wheels Program.
All the numbers are not in yet, so I do not have an
exact figure for you, but we hope to raise $30,000
from the gala.
You have filled a dual role of sponsor and co-chair.
Your contributions, efforts and obvious caring have
played a vital role in the continued success of this
fundraiser. Because of your help, the need for hot
food and a daily safety check for our most frail
neighbors will continue to be met. Thank you.
Very truly yours,
Megan Brady
Executive Director

Greetings Dear Singer Family,
'Tis the season to reach out and hold up the light to ensure for all children, that all will be bright.
Thank you so much for not only sponsoring, but for
also joining us in our 4th annual WZID Christmas is
for Kids Auction to benefit Child and Family
Services. Your support infused the event with a true
excitement, and helped to make it an all-around
success! Certainly, when a company of your eminence
lends its voice to a cause, people listen and duly
respond.
Thank you also Steve, for your donation of the
Celtic's memorabilia, your coordination of your
brothers in donating the Rolling Stones tickets, and
for providing some volunteers to help us behind the
scenes. You have gone beyond the call of duty and
have truly made a difference.
I want you to know that the event raised over
$60,000 and will allow us to fulfill the holiday
wishes of over a thousand children and families in
need throughout New Hampshire. For many, there would
not be a Christmas this year if not for the
generosity and compassion of people like you.
The holiday season is a magical time of year, a time
of friends, family, sharing, and joy. Our goal at
Child and Family Services is to put that magic back
in to the lives of New Hampshire families and to
make that magic last the entire year. With the
community support we received, those families know
that there are people who care and people who are
willing to go the extra mile to make someone else''s
life better.
On behalf of the children and families served by
Child and Family Services, may you have warmth of
heart, peace of mind and tidings of comfort and joy
this holiday season and throughout the new year. Now
indeed, all will be bright.
Sincerely,
Michael R. Ostrowski, President/CEO

Dear Stephen,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do
to support The Salvation Army's Kids. Cafprogram!
You and you entire organization don't just go the
extra mile for us, you run a marathon!
Taking 45 People to the Velveteen Rabbit and 30 to
Avner the Eccentric, not to mention transportation
and food, well, these are fantastic outings for
Inner City kids. The monetary value does not do
justice to the real value of these gifts.
Experiences like these are just not the norm for the
kids that we serve. These are extraordinary treats
for them. Your kindness and generosity are just
unparalleled.
You and the employees of Merchants have been very
supportive of Kids' Cafe´ we are well aware that
without this level of support we would not be
running as successful a program as we currently are.
Thank you for partnering with us to make a
difference in the lives of these children. I know
that their lives are richer as a result of your
caring and sharing.
Sincerely,
Linda Ferreira, Lieutenant-Commanding Officer

Dear Mr. Singer,
Once again our school year is finished and we
considered the year to have been another successful
one. All eleven of our eighth grade students have
passed on to high school. The Phoenix Team greatly
appreciates your generosity. The weekly use of your
vans has enabled us to maintain a strong career
awareness program, community involvement, adventure
based counseling program and through Tai Kwon Doe
classes, anger management and improved self-esteem.
Denise Raymond in the Durham office one again
deserves many thanks. She is a pleasure to work with
and this year has been especially helpful in
obtaining eight passenger vans, as we are no longer
allowed to use fifteen passenger vans.
Once again please accept our sincere appreciation in
your direct involvement with the Phoenix Team. Our
success over the past six years is largely due to
providing experiences outside of the four walls of a
classroom. You make this success possible.
We hope that you will be receptive to continuing our
relationship in the fall when we greet 20 new
students. Thanks and may God bless you!
Sincerely,
Pat Rohr
